This Privacy Policy describes how Ecumetro S.A.S. ("Ecumetro", "we") processes personal information collected through the site ecumetro.com, in compliance with Ecuador's Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) and its regulations in force in 2026.

2. Data we collect
We only collect data you voluntarily submit through the consultation form: full name, email address and the message content. Additionally, when you enable analytics or advertising cookies, we may receive anonymous technical identifiers (country, approximate city, device type).
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used exclusively to: (a) answer your consultation with information about housing projects, (b) send informative communications about new projects only if you expressly authorize it, and (c) improve site performance through aggregated metrics. We do not carry out automated profiling with legal effects.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your free, specific and informed consent, given when submitting the form. For non-essential cookies, the legal basis is your active consent through the cookie banner in accordance with Google Consent Mode v2.
5. Retention
We keep the form data for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months from the last interaction, unless you exercise your right to erasure earlier. Cookie consent records are kept for thirteen (13) months.

We do not sell or transfer your data. We may share it only with strictly necessary processors: the transactional email provider, the hosting provider with servers in South America and, when you authorize it, advertising platforms such as Google Ads for aggregated measurement.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability at any time by writing to privacidad@ecumetro.com. We reply within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you can turn to Ecuador's Superintendency for Personal Data Protection.
